OA accepts contributions from OA members and OA groups and service bodies only. Our financial contributions help Overeaters Anonymous support members and groups worldwide and assure that the message of recovery is spread to all who need to hear it. When considering how to financially support OA, remember to keep a prudent reserve for your group.
You may contribute to the WSO general fund, or to the following funds: Delegate Support, Professional Exhibits.
The Delegate Support Fund lends financial assistance to intergroups that would otherwise be unable to send delegates to the World Service Business Conference.
The Professional Exhibit Fund assists service bodies to exhibit at professional conferences and conventions if the service bodies lack sufficient resources to do so.
An OA member may contribute up to $5,000 per year to the general fund, up to $5,000 to any special fund and up to $5,000 to honor the memory of a deceased member. OA, Inc. will accept a bequest in any amount from the will of a deceased member in cash or cash equivalent.
